Finally, Back in the Water!!

Leaving the Lynnwood Boatyard felt great. While it was very convenient for us to work on the boat there, we were becoming fixtures in the yard. We were a bit nervous about the boat sinking when we launched, particularly since we'd installed a new "dripless" shaft seal. About a week after we bought ours, friends in the South Pacific had theirs start leaking. While the old one always leaked, the new dripless seals can fail catastrophically (they don't put that in the brochures).
