Christmas in the Islands

...Vancouver Island that is!! We took Demelza over for a test sail to Mom and Dad Ross' for the holidays. Amazingly, we ran into Patrick, Raty, Gayatri, Iman, and Killian Allard aboard their gorgeous Yamaha 25, Wa, on the way out into English Bay.


We got to test many of the new systems and were quite happy with their performance. Here's Lo at the helm with Bowen Island in the background. BBrrr, it was FREEZING with a cold mist and fog so thick we couldn't see any lights at all at several times during the crossing. Unfortunately, the wind was nearly non-existent the entire trip, so we didn't do much sailing. We were happy to be on the water and had a fantastic time with Lauren's family.
